Steve Jobs said something I think ended with a profound truth..

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

In today’s world people are so ready to tell you what to do and what not to do… To throw tantrums, play the “poor me” card to make you feel guilty and give in and do what will make them happy and execute emotional extortion …

And sometimes we let ourselves make the wrong choices simply to avoid conflict/confrontation to appease a situation rather than be willing to follow our hearts, our intuition— to have courage to follow that prompting within us.

Sometimes we have to be willing to do what we feel like doing no matter how crazy it is…

Be careful when dealing with those closest to you- always question any advice you receive from them that you did not specifically ask for. While some offer advice out of love and concern, the majority are simply trying to manipulate you into making decisions that are either beneficial to them, or match the ideas that they have in their mind about how they feel you should be living. Taking time to question every potential angle before choosing to accept ones advice is not a sign of paranoia, it is a show of your common sense.

A woman is probably not a very admirable creature. She is manipulative, uses other people to get her way, and works within whatever system she is in.

So I hope all of you have the courage to live up to Steve Jobs’s quote, to drown out the voices around you and follow your intuition… To take a risk because it might be the best blessing you could ever have…

After a long and strenuous day with simply not enough hours to get everything I needed to get done… I steal a few for myself and say….

Good night San Francisco
