I was going through my emails and found a homework assignment I had written when I was 14… A one page Essay which received an A+.. But I do find the notion interesting.

The argument leads to the idea that nothing itself is something, but since anything that is a something must have a shape or force capable to produce a mass. Therefore leaving the notion that from the beginning there was a nothing that was strong enough to produce everything; that there was an energy force capable to produce the heavens and earths and all that lies in between, that the blackness and emptiness of black-holes hold a gravitational force that can’t exist in nothing which means that even in the darkest places where there is nothing, there still lies the nothing that holds everything together.

Parmenides, Socrates, Plato, Leucippus, Aristotle, John the Scot, G.W.F Hegel, and Democritus all part took in the idea of how the earth could or couldn’t have been formed by a force that could be consider nothing. Which this argument bring to light the scripture Philippians 2:13

[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.

Which describes that God Himself is a force and energy that works through us and all the dwells around us, which then brings understanding to the scripture

Colossians 1:17

And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

So simply put God was the something that would be describe as nothing since God has no shape and nor form but is eternal power, that holds the heavens, the earth and the universe together by the string of his force and power, no energy, no matter will cease to exist because God is sustaining them. God is the gravity that holds all things together. He isn’t nothing, He is the “I Am”

My One Page Essay.

“How do we define our very being? Are we a series of progression of evolution and if so, what did we first evolve from? This question has ponder our minds since the day of creation to now; we have theories, we have philosophies but none as contradicting as the philosophy of Nothing.  The idea that nothing is the equivalent of something but yet philosophers believe the world was created from nothing and the notion of nothing is actually a something according to that understanding  that everything is something though its nothing. This is the case, what was the nothing we derive from?

Nothing is defined and used to referred to something of little importance or the absence of something.  If we were to use the quote from Wikipedia on the subject of nothing under the subjection of Western Philosophy in conversation between Dr. Gozzi and Giacomo Casanova which was

“As everything, for him, was an article of faith, nothing, to his mind, was difficult to understand: the Great Flood had covered the entire world; before, men had the misfortune of living a thousand years; God conversed with them; Noah had taken one hundred years to build the ark; while the earth, suspended in air, stood firmly at the center of the universe that God had created out of nothingness. When I said to him, and proved to him, that the existence of nothingness was absurd, he cut me short, calling me silly.”

How can one assume that we and our existence came from nothing, that’s where  the counter argument comes in  ‘something cannot result from nothing, since there is nothing to produce a something’

This argument is very significant when it comes to arguing about the actual creation of the earth by a God. Since if there was no earth or anything with substance that must leave that there was a something just nothing in physical realms but in energy and spiritual realms, that could produce in the field of energy a combustion of a something.”
